Another Exciting MKMMA Week

Blog Week 15

Another challenging and exciting week in the Master Key Master Mind Alliance, I feel Blessed to have drawn this opportunity into my life.

Some changes that have come to be this week, our guides offered us the opportunity to be part of an open forum weekly if we choose to participate, where we can share our challenges and ask questions. its an opportunity to seek a Mastermind response to questions we may have and share some of our successes.

I also added an accountability partner this week, we’re excited to be able to help one another in whatever ways we find we have a need, we all struggle with some things from time to time and this is a great opportunity to share and Mastermind.

From Hannel this week,

“We cannot obtain what we lack if we tenaciously cling to what we have.”

“All conditions and experiences that come to us do so for our benefit. Difficulties and obstacles will continue to come until we absorb their wisdom and gather from them the essentials for further growth

Mental Pit Stop

Week 12 Blog

Mental Pit Stop

Tuesday December 12th middle of the day, in my office at work, time to break away and dedicate time to my Mastermind studies.  I had just finished chapter ten of “The Greatest Salesman” on persistence, I moved to the 7 Laws of the Mind I begin reading The Law of Substitution, The Law of relaxation, The Law of Practice, I begin to read The Law of Forgiveness and as I get to line 4 “There can be no connection to the Devine Mind where anger or resentment against a brother or sister, justified or not, exists.” I begin to feel uncomfortable, anxious and emotional, it came on so quickly my breathing increased I began to tremble a little the next thing I know I’m sobbing.

My first instinct is to walk away from my reading, I don’t understand what’s happening I need to move my focus away from what I’m feeling, then almost as though it was part of me I immediately remembered something Mark J said in his last training, he shared a personal experience where he started to walk away from a similar situation but he stopped himself and allowed the feelings to come and move through him. I quickly stopped myself and allowed the feelings and experience to wash over me.

Thirty minutes later I have two pages of notes and feelings, that flowed from my pen like I was a speed writer, my words are full of emotion, feelings of anger, fear, resentment, all stored away from the past….

The Nature of Thought

Week 11 Blog

One of the things that stood out for me this week was the power of thought and application of belief.

“Here we find a method, the spirit of which is, to believe that which is sought has been accomplished, in order to accomplish it : a method bequeathed upon us by the same Plato who, outside of this sphere, could never find how the idea’s became realities.”

A great teacher has said, “ What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

“We are first to believe that our desire has already been fulfilled, its accomplishment will then follow. This is a concise direction for making use of the creative power of thought by impressing on the universal subjective mind, the particular thing which we desire as an already existing fact.”

“We are thus thinking on the plane of the absolute and eliminating all consideration of conditions or limitation and are planting a seed which, if left undisturbed, will finally germinate into external fruition.”

“You ask in what does the creative power of thought consist ? It consists in creating Ideas, and these in turn objectify themselves by appropriating, inventing, observing, discerning, discovering, analyzing, ruling, governing, combining, and applying matter and force. It can do this because it is an intelligent creative power.”

By far the greatest discovery of all the centuries is the power of thought.

“ The recognition of the marvelous power of which is possessed by the mind under proper conditions and the fact that this power can be utilized, directed, and made available for the solution of every human problem is of transcendental importance.”

The Master Key Mastermind Alliance is an incredible learning experience well worth the time and effort.

Why Take a Visual Trip Backwards?

USS Wisconsin 64Masterkey Week 8

In the last assignment we created a mental image, we brought it from the invisible into the visible; this week I want you to take an object and follow it back to its origination, see of what it really consists. If you do this you will develop imagination, insight, perception and sagacity. These come not by the superficial observation of the multitude, but by a keen analytical observation which sees below the surface.

As I read our assignment for week 8 I find Haanel has chosen a battleship as the object of our focus. We are to visualize the battleship and work backwards, in other words we are supposed to take a battleship and using visualization take her apart piece by piece, you’ll understand better as we go along.

As I prepared for this assignment my thoughts traveled back to a time when I lived in the Norfolk Virginia area. I recalled visiting the Nauticus Museum where the Battleship Wisconsin is one of the museums attractions. The USS Wisconsin is permanently berthed alongside the museum for visitors to board and view, as I reminisced about the numerous times I spent walking her deck I recalled how magnificent she is, her history going back as far as WWII she is the sister ship of the USS Missouri well known as being the place where the Japanese officially surrendered. The signing took place on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.

As I walked the decks fore and aft, stem to stern of this Iowa class Battleship the USS Wisconsin, I was in awe of the size and work that went into building such a ship.

Today I find myself visiting the same ship once again only this time there is one major difference, today I am visiting her in my mind, Now I must begin taking her apart dismantling the gun turrets, pulling up the decking, removing the outer steel plates all the way back to the point there is no ship, only architects and engineers. Taking another step back we find the Secretary of Defense ordering the plans and blueprints, and congress debating the funding, and to whom do these congressman represent, but you and I, we are at the core of all things, “Imagination is the constructive form of thought which must precede every constructive form of action”

You will find exercises of this kind invaluable. When the thought has been trained to look below the surface everything takes on a different appearance, the insignificant becomes significant, the uninteresting interesting; the things which we supposed to be of no importance are seen to be the only really vital things in existence.

Although I am currently many miles away from where the USS Wisconsin is berthed using my imagination and visualization I have the ability to once again walk the decks of this magnificent ship anytime I choose to.

What is a Mental Diet

Week # 7

I’m sure the Journey I’m about to embark on will be one of the most challenging things I have ever done, it’s called “ The Seven Day Mental Diet” It consists not of changing the foods I consume but changing my mental diet, the input of only those things which will benefit my mental state of mind.

“The most important of all factors in my life is the mental diet on which I live. It is the food which I furnish to my mind that determines the whole character of my life. It is the thoughts I allow myself to think, the subjects I allow myself to dwell upon, which make me and my surroundings what they are. As thy days, so shall be thy strength be. Everything in life today – the state of our body, whether healthy or sick, the state of my fortune, whether prosperous or impoverished, the state of my home, whether happy or the reverse, the present condition of every phase of my life in fact – is entirely conditioned by the thoughts and feelings which I have entertained in the past, by the habitual tone of my past thinking.”

“And the condition of my life tomorrow, and the next week, and next year, will be entirely conditioned by the thoughts and feelings which I choose to entertain from now onwards.”

“In other words, I choose my life, that is to say, I choose all the conditions of my life, when I choose the thoughts upon which I allow my mind to dwell. Thought is the real causative force in life, there is no other. I cannot have one kind of mind and another kind of environment. This means that I cannot change my environment while leaving my mind unchanged, nor — and this is the supreme key to life and the reason for this pamphlet – can I change my mind without my environment changing too. “

“This then is the real key to life: If I change my mind my conditions must change too – my body must change, my daily work or other activities must change; my home must change; the color – tone of my whole life must change – for whether I can be habitually happy and cheerful, or low – spirited and fearful , depends entirely on the quality of the mental food upon which I diet myself.”

“Emmet Fox wants me to be very clear about this, If I change my mind my conditions must change too. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. So now I will see that my mental diet is really the most important thing in my whole life.”

My Old Blueprint

Week # 6

My old blueprint like a mighty stallion has reared up on its hindquarters showing how determined it is to put a halt to my desire to create a new blueprint. In other words my old blueprint has caused procrastination, excuses, and as many road blocks as possible to deter me from my work. It’s been a real struggle to keep moving forward and complete the required elements this week.
The work continues….. “I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.”
“As we become conscious of the wisdom in the world within, we mentally take possession of this wisdom, and by taking mental possession we come into actual possession of the power and wisdom necessary to bring into manifestation the essentials necessary for our most complete and harmonious development.”

The challenge is before us, the victory’s at hand
