Thoughts are Spiritual Seeds

Blog Week 22

Thoughts are Spiritual Seeds

Our minds have the ability to take us down two very different paths;

  1. There is the path of what we believe we want for our lives.
  2. There is the path of knowing this is our true path in life.

Knowledge is of priceless value, because by applying knowledge we can make our future what we wish it to be. When we realize that our present character, our present environment, our present ability, our present physical condition are all the result of past methods of thinking, we shall begin to have some conception of the value of knowledge. It is through the law of vibration that the mind exercises this control over the body. We know that every mental action is a vibration, and we know that all form is simply a mode of motion, a rate of vibration. Therefore, any given vibration immediately modifies every atom in the body, every life cell is affected and an entire chemical change is made in every group of life cells.

Make a mental image of the changes you want to achieve, hold the spiritual seeds in the mind until it is absorbed by the consciousness, transferred to the subconscious where the subbie will begin the work of achieving what you want your life to be.

The Real Secret of Power, is Consciousness of Power

Blog Week 21

The Real Secret of Power, is Consciousness of Power

Our predominant thoughts or mental attitude is the magnet, and the law is that “like attracts like,” consequently the mental attitude will invariably attract such conditions as correspond to its nature.

This mental attitude is our personality  and is composed of the thoughts which we have been creating in our own mind; therefore, if we wish a change in conditions all that is necessary is to change our thought; this will in turn change the persons, things and conditions, or, the experiences with which we meet life.

Simple to understand yet not easy to apply. Keeping our minds focused is a job in itself, which most people put little effort towards and therefore rarely achieve many of the things in life they would love to have in their lives.

I’m grateful to be a member of the Master Key Mastermind Alliance where we’re learning the skills and methods to help us master and focus our minds on the things that hold utmost importance in our lives.

Thinking is the true business of life, Power is the result.

Blog Week 20

Thinking is the true business of life, Power is the result.

Those who recognize their power; those who know that unless we are willing to think we shall have to work, and the less we think the more we shall have to work, and the less we shall get for our work. Hannel

What a powerful thought, when we come to the understanding we have the power within us to achieve “Our heart’s desire” that through thought, inspiration, imagination and a perfect understanding of our relationship to the universal mind it is this power which will enable us to bring to us those things which are near and dear to our heart. Using certain skills learned in our Mastermind group, we have the power to draw those things to us with little or no effort.

Joyfully Restarting

Week 18 Blog

As I stated in my last post I have had a couple of difficult weeks keeping up and generally stalled. Of course we know by now why these situations come about we are fighting our subby resisting the change we are trying to create in our lives.

I’m here to say I am moving forward again, as the weeks have passed and the Master Mind experience  unfolds  I realize how fortunate I am to have this program in my life. The way the program has been structured and the power of what we have and the change it’s creating in so many people’s lives is phenomenal. The MKMMA experience is like nothing I’ve ever been part of.

Onward and Upward

A confusing week….

Blog Week 17

A confusing week….

Wow this has been a challenging week, I have had a general feeling of confusion, feeling as though things weren’t right. Nothing seemed to flow in harmony as it has in the past few weeks.

Mark mentioned there is something unique about this point in the course and my experience seems to confirm that.

I’ve found myself questioning whether I could have adopted the thought that this would be a difficult week and created it that way, could that be possible? That would be a powerful exhibit of the power of thought. Looking forward to getting things back to a more even flow.

I would love to hear from others on how there week flowed.

The Nature of Thought

Week 11 Blog

One of the things that stood out for me this week was the power of thought and application of belief.

“Here we find a method, the spirit of which is, to believe that which is sought has been accomplished, in order to accomplish it : a method bequeathed upon us by the same Plato who, outside of this sphere, could never find how the idea’s became realities.”

A great teacher has said, “ What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

“We are first to believe that our desire has already been fulfilled, its accomplishment will then follow. This is a concise direction for making use of the creative power of thought by impressing on the universal subjective mind, the particular thing which we desire as an already existing fact.”

“We are thus thinking on the plane of the absolute and eliminating all consideration of conditions or limitation and are planting a seed which, if left undisturbed, will finally germinate into external fruition.”

“You ask in what does the creative power of thought consist ? It consists in creating Ideas, and these in turn objectify themselves by appropriating, inventing, observing, discerning, discovering, analyzing, ruling, governing, combining, and applying matter and force. It can do this because it is an intelligent creative power.”

By far the greatest discovery of all the centuries is the power of thought.

“ The recognition of the marvelous power of which is possessed by the mind under proper conditions and the fact that this power can be utilized, directed, and made available for the solution of every human problem is of transcendental importance.”

The Master Key Mastermind Alliance is an incredible learning experience well worth the time and effort.

Just a Glimpse of Change

Week 9 Blog

This morning as I was focusing on our assignment which was to visualize a plant, we were instructed to take a flower seed and bring it from the unseen into the seen, by planting the seed, watering it, caring for it, place it where it will get sunlight, see the seed burst; it is now a living thing. See the roots grow and expand as they penetrate the earth in search of what’s needed to sustain the life of the plant. We are to visualize the process to completion, the stem bursts through the earth forming branches and flower buds that will soon begin to unfold and the fragrance from the flower will drift about as we complete our visualization exercise bringing our flower seed from the unseen into the seen.

As I completed the exercise and continued my meditation I experienced a burst of light before my eyes, my focus immediately moved to my DMP where I saw our home in the Philippines, as our home came into view I saw the front door, then the staircase leading to the second floor with the outside veranda where I meditate and have morning coffee with my breakfast. The next scene that flashed before my eyes was walking on our white sand beach, crystal clear water, palm trees gently swaying in the tropical breeze.

What amazed me was it seemed to be some form of linking related to repeating our exercises and hard work we have done these past 2 months. What a great feeling it is to see things coming together.

Why Take a Visual Trip Backwards?

USS Wisconsin 64Masterkey Week 8

In the last assignment we created a mental image, we brought it from the invisible into the visible; this week I want you to take an object and follow it back to its origination, see of what it really consists. If you do this you will develop imagination, insight, perception and sagacity. These come not by the superficial observation of the multitude, but by a keen analytical observation which sees below the surface.

As I read our assignment for week 8 I find Haanel has chosen a battleship as the object of our focus. We are to visualize the battleship and work backwards, in other words we are supposed to take a battleship and using visualization take her apart piece by piece, you’ll understand better as we go along.

As I prepared for this assignment my thoughts traveled back to a time when I lived in the Norfolk Virginia area. I recalled visiting the Nauticus Museum where the Battleship Wisconsin is one of the museums attractions. The USS Wisconsin is permanently berthed alongside the museum for visitors to board and view, as I reminisced about the numerous times I spent walking her deck I recalled how magnificent she is, her history going back as far as WWII she is the sister ship of the USS Missouri well known as being the place where the Japanese officially surrendered. The signing took place on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.

As I walked the decks fore and aft, stem to stern of this Iowa class Battleship the USS Wisconsin, I was in awe of the size and work that went into building such a ship.

Today I find myself visiting the same ship once again only this time there is one major difference, today I am visiting her in my mind, Now I must begin taking her apart dismantling the gun turrets, pulling up the decking, removing the outer steel plates all the way back to the point there is no ship, only architects and engineers. Taking another step back we find the Secretary of Defense ordering the plans and blueprints, and congress debating the funding, and to whom do these congressman represent, but you and I, we are at the core of all things, “Imagination is the constructive form of thought which must precede every constructive form of action”

You will find exercises of this kind invaluable. When the thought has been trained to look below the surface everything takes on a different appearance, the insignificant becomes significant, the uninteresting interesting; the things which we supposed to be of no importance are seen to be the only really vital things in existence.

Although I am currently many miles away from where the USS Wisconsin is berthed using my imagination and visualization I have the ability to once again walk the decks of this magnificent ship anytime I choose to.

What is a Mental Diet

Week # 7

I’m sure the Journey I’m about to embark on will be one of the most challenging things I have ever done, it’s called “ The Seven Day Mental Diet” It consists not of changing the foods I consume but changing my mental diet, the input of only those things which will benefit my mental state of mind.

“The most important of all factors in my life is the mental diet on which I live. It is the food which I furnish to my mind that determines the whole character of my life. It is the thoughts I allow myself to think, the subjects I allow myself to dwell upon, which make me and my surroundings what they are. As thy days, so shall be thy strength be. Everything in life today – the state of our body, whether healthy or sick, the state of my fortune, whether prosperous or impoverished, the state of my home, whether happy or the reverse, the present condition of every phase of my life in fact – is entirely conditioned by the thoughts and feelings which I have entertained in the past, by the habitual tone of my past thinking.”

“And the condition of my life tomorrow, and the next week, and next year, will be entirely conditioned by the thoughts and feelings which I choose to entertain from now onwards.”

“In other words, I choose my life, that is to say, I choose all the conditions of my life, when I choose the thoughts upon which I allow my mind to dwell. Thought is the real causative force in life, there is no other. I cannot have one kind of mind and another kind of environment. This means that I cannot change my environment while leaving my mind unchanged, nor — and this is the supreme key to life and the reason for this pamphlet – can I change my mind without my environment changing too. “

“This then is the real key to life: If I change my mind my conditions must change too – my body must change, my daily work or other activities must change; my home must change; the color – tone of my whole life must change – for whether I can be habitually happy and cheerful, or low – spirited and fearful , depends entirely on the quality of the mental food upon which I diet myself.”

“Emmet Fox wants me to be very clear about this, If I change my mind my conditions must change too. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. So now I will see that my mental diet is really the most important thing in my whole life.”

Excerpts from the “ The Seven Day Mental Diet” by Emmet Fox

My Old Blueprint

Week # 6

My old blueprint like a mighty stallion has reared up on its hindquarters showing how determined it is to put a halt to my desire to create a new blueprint. In other words my old blueprint has caused procrastination, excuses, and as many road blocks as possible to deter me from my work. It’s been a real struggle to keep moving forward and complete the required elements this week.
The work continues….. “I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.”
“As we become conscious of the wisdom in the world within, we mentally take possession of this wisdom, and by taking mental possession we come into actual possession of the power and wisdom necessary to bring into manifestation the essentials necessary for our most complete and harmonious development.”

The challenge is before us, the victory’s at hand
