Week 12 Blog
Mental Pit Stop
Tuesday December 12th middle of the day, in my office at work, time to break away and dedicate time to my Mastermind studies. I had just finished chapter ten of “The Greatest Salesman” on persistence, I moved to the 7 Laws of the Mind I begin reading The Law of Substitution, The Law of relaxation, The Law of Practice, I begin to read The Law of Forgiveness and as I get to line 4 “There can be no connection to the Devine Mind where anger or resentment against a brother or sister, justified or not, exists.” I begin to feel uncomfortable, anxious and emotional, it came on so quickly my breathing increased I began to tremble a little the next thing I know I’m sobbing.
My first instinct is to walk away from my reading, I don’t understand what’s happening I need to move my focus away from what I’m feeling, then almost as though it was part of me I immediately remembered something Mark J said in his last training, he shared a personal experience where he started to walk away from a similar situation but he stopped himself and allowed the feelings to come and move through him. I quickly stopped myself and allowed the feelings and experience to wash over me.
Thirty minutes later I have two pages of notes and feelings, that flowed from my pen like I was a speed writer, my words are full of emotion, feelings of anger, fear, resentment, all stored away from the past….
To be continued
For me the word freedomness works instead of forgiveness. It is a way to connect yourself from a person or event instead of reliving as we do with resentment. I am not 100% with this but it is helpful.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Elaine I found it helpful, keep sharing.
Fred – very interesting insights! I look forward to the …to be continued portion! I too have been running from the intensity of emotions for too long.
Don thanks for sharing your comment, dig deep and when they come let them flow.
Wishing you a journey full of new insights and growth, to the new you!
Fred, thank you for sharing your journey so honestly…I was at first thinking to myself, you seem to have such ease and grace in practicing your reading, then I was riveted by your sharing…I am grateful for your being so candid and earnest desire to hear more.

Your contribution to my journey is appreciated.
Fred,
Forgiveness is so pivotal , and one of the great challenges we all face. My wish for you is freedom from whatever feelings have been buried within, and a new birth as Davene so eloquently shared on this weeks webinar.
Anna
Thank you Anna your comment is greatly appreciated, I agree forgiveness is pivotal and was forth coming in this situation.
Looking forward to its continuation and what “relegations” that might have occurred. Thanks for sharing.
Edward thank you for your contribution, I appreciate you! Message me if you would like to mastermind, it would be my pleasure if your willing.
I find that all of us are going through a change and coming out with new vision and understanding. the process of the change probably goes back to our childhood where many of the barriers were put up by ourselves or by others around us.
Dorothy you are right most barriers are childhood related, thank you for adding to my journey by way of your comments.
Ah…don’t stop! Wow! I want to hear the rest! And I want to know mainly cause…yep, I’ve felt the same stuff!
